Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 30 October 2026
These Terms govern your use of the Gita Smriti website and WhatsApp service, provided by Prathamesh Enterprises (proprietor: Prathamesh Jayprakash Tawde), GSTIN 27AFAPT8304F1ZH (“we”, “us”). By registering, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
1. The service
We send short reflections inspired by the Bhagavad Gita over WhatsApp. The content is spiritual and educational in nature. Please read our Disclaimer: it is not medical, psychological, legal or financial advice.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and the owner or authorised user of the WhatsApp number you register.
3. Free 21-day experience
- The introductory experience is free and lasts 21 days: one message a day for the first 7 days, then three a week (13 messages in total).
- We do not collect payment details during registration or during the free experience.
- At the end of the free experience, we will send you one invitation to continue. If you do not subscribe, your messages stop. You will not be charged.
4. Paid membership (₹149/month or ₹999/year)
- Membership is available as a Monthly plan at ₹149/month or a Yearly plan at ₹999/year. Prices include GST.
- It is a recurring subscription that renews automatically at the end of each billing period (every month or every year, depending on your plan) until you cancel. You choose the plan and authorise it explicitly on the payment page, using a mandate (e.g. UPI Autopay or card e-mandate) processed by Razorpay.
- As required by RBI rules on recurring payments, you will receive a pre-debit notification before each renewal charge from your bank, card issuer or payment provider.
- See our Subscription & Cancellation Policy for cancellation and refunds.
- We will give at least 30 days’ notice of any price change, and will not charge a higher price without your fresh consent.
5. Messaging and opt-out
You can reply STOP at any time to stop all messages. Message frequency is at most one message per day (during the free experience: daily for the first week, then three a week), plus occasional service messages (welcome, reminders, payment status). Standard data charges from your mobile operator may apply.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the service, register a number you do not own, send abusive content, or attempt to interfere with our systems.
7. Intellectual property
The Bhagavad Gita is an ancient public-domain text. Our translations, reflections, practices, design and website content are our intellectual property. You may share individual messages for personal, non-commercial use with attribution.
8. Availability
We aim for reliable delivery but cannot guarantee it, as WhatsApp delivery depends on third parties. If a message fails, we may skip it and continue with the next day.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
10. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or end the service for a number if we reasonably believe these Terms are being breached, or if messages repeatedly fail to deliver. If we end a paid membership without cause, we will refund the unused portion of the current billing period.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to your rights as a consumer, courts at Thane have jurisdiction.
