Bhagavad Gita 9.26: A leaf, a flower, a fruit, water
Chapter 9, verse 26 · Krishna to Arjuna
Whoever offers me with devotion a leaf, a flower, a fruit or a little water — that loving offering from a sincere heart, I accept.
Context
Krishna explains that the value of an offering lies in the love behind it, not its size or cost: even a leaf or a little water, given with devotion, is accepted.
What it means today
Sincerity matters more than scale. A small act of care done wholeheartedly today counts for more than a grand gesture done for show.
