Who we are
Gita Smriti is a digital service that shares short, practical reflections inspired by the Bhagavad Gita on WhatsApp. It is run by Prathamesh Enterprises, a GST-registered proprietorship (proprietor: Prathamesh Jayprakash Tawde) based in Thane, Maharashtra.
Why we started
Most of us scroll through hundreds of reels a day and remember almost none of them. A single, well-chosen idea, read slowly at the right moment, can stay with you for years. Smriti means remembrance — and that is what we try to offer: one thought worth remembering, connected to what you are going through.
What we do
- A free 21-day experience: a short reflection every day for the first week, then three a week — each with the verse it draws on and one small practice to try that day.
- Reflections are personalised to what the reader says is troubling them most: overthinking, career, relationships, anger, discipline or purpose.

What we are not
- Not a religious organisation. We do not perform rituals or pujas, and we do not collect donations.

Our content
Each reflection cites the chapter and verse it draws on. English and Hindi renderings are our own plain-language paraphrases of the Sanskrit text, written to be easy to understand and apply.
